Story: A rehash tale, the story begins with Bhargavan Paillai (innocent) who is a honest and down to earth doctor. He believes in serving with integrity and that’s why he charges twenty rupees for any sort of illness along with helping the people at an orphanage. However, his wife Subbelakshmy (sona nair) is influenced by those around her and dreams of having a lavish life with luxuries. She pushes her husband to earn money. The story takes a turn when Subbelakshmy makes Bhargav to contest in elections. He loses the election and also the publicity money of two lakh rupees. How his simple life brings problems in his family forms the rest of the story.
 

Presentation: The director has come up with a very dull storyline and while the presentation was mediocre, the narrative was bad. The dialogues were stale. The script was weak and the screenplay was shoddy. Background score was the saving grace and three songs were worth listening. Cinematography was adequate. Editing was required at many places. Costumes did their bit as required while the art department was natural and apt. Innocent has come up with a moderate performance but he could not shine in comedy. The real show stealer was Sona Nair who made the most of this opportunity. Jagathy managed few smiles, Suraj Venjaramoodu was standard, Dinesh was decent, Mamukoya was moderate. The others were there to fill the screen.
 

Conclusion: Right from the word go, the film seemed to have taken off on a wrong footing and it was obvious that the storyline has been a rehash of various other movies. While the first half goes at snail pace, it is only in the second half that the real story begins. However, with poor technical values and very weak content, the film would find it hard to connect with the audience. At the box office, the film has strong chances of fizzling out in no time.
