A tale gone sour, the film is about Dr Balagopal (Mohanlal) who is a gynecologist at the hospital and here is the wife of the home minister (sivaji) who is delivering a baby. However, the story takes a turn when a group of terrorists take over the hospital and their agenda is to steal the baby. They also claim to have planted bombs all across the state and take the baby, their demand is that one of their accomplices has to be released in exchange for the baby. What follows is a tale of see saw and a supposedly edge of the seat thriller. How Dr Balagopal takes up the initiative and tries to save the baby and also the state forms the rest of the story.
The director has attempted to come up with a concept that could have been better but fell flatly due to the poor presentation and narrative. The dialogues were dull, the script was shoddy and the screenplay was pathetic. The music could not suit the situations and even the camera was quite haphazard causing strain to the eyes. Editing was disastrous. Mohanlal has come out with one of the poorest performances on screen, Lakshmi was looking luscious as ever and Shafna was looking sensuous. The others did their bit but none of them have been able to impress and it must be said that the etching of the characters has been quite poor leaving no scope for performance.
Though the film has attempted to become the movie made in the shortest span ever, care should have been taken to arrange in the right pattern and that too with the correct quality. While the first half goes about with the supposedly light hearted entertaining fare, the second half gets into the terrorist takeover and the NSG commando scenes. It looked like the presentation was more like a TV serial and nothing was right in terms of the technical aspects or even the performances. This will sink in no time.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Poor show, can be avoided.
