Story: A stale tale, the story begins with the tsunami day when there is lot of havoc and here is one boy who gets abandoned. He grows up and is called as Tsunami (raju patil) for obvious reasons. He is brought up by his adoptive father in Mumbai and takes care of the family business. However, in order to get more business, tsunami associates with few anti-social elements and this result in the death of his parents. Shattered, he comes to Bangalore with a goal to help the poor and punish the wrongdoers. This makes tsunami a big don. The story takes a turn when few terrorists come to Tsunami for planting bombs in the city. What happens after that forms the rest of the tale. |
Presentation: The director has come up with a weak storyline and while the presentation was bad, the narrative was not appealing. The dialogues were weak, the script was written with zero sensibility and screenplay was poor. Background score was good but songs were bad. Cinematography was average. Editing was dull. Costumes were average while the art department was apt. Raju Patil is the big minus for the lead role, he has to learn a lot if he is keen on becoming an actor, Sonia looks seductive and brings some visual relief, Rangayana Raghu was not used to his potential, Doddanna was okay, Tennis Krishna was regular, Bullet Prakash was usual. The others didn’t have scope. |
Conclusion: From the time the film was made, it has been going through some serious issues with the censor board and that resulted in a lot of delay. However, the controversy was not worth enough. While the first half goes about with the routine element of family, romance and some songs, the second half gets into the violence part and the good versus bad. Overall, the film is poor not just in its making but also in the content and performances. At the box office, this is sure to sink. Bharatstudent verdict: Forget it!! |
