Sanchari Sandalwood Movie Review
A regular story, the tale begins with Raj (raj) who is a small time thief and he is working under a boss Gurappa (rangayana), a waste paper merchant. Apparently, Gurappa wants to contest for election but his opponent is strong. So, he decides to kidnap the opponent's daughter Bindhu (bianca) since he knows how her father is attached to her. He assigns the task to Raj but then Raj has already fallen in love with her when he saw her before. He refuses to do it and Gurappa gives the job to Raj's opponent mental Shivashankar (subburaj). What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Sanchari Kannada Cinema Review
The director has come up with a routine storyline but then it is the presentation and to an extent, the narration that worked. The dialogues are regular, the script was average and the screenplay was apt. Background score was good but the real scorer is the songs, three of them are worth taking home. Cinematography was suitable. Editing could have been better. Costumes and art department made their presence felt. The major flaw lies in the lead hero, Raj has got to work very hard if he has to make a career, his diction and his looks both are not impressive, luckily the presence of the gorgeous Bianca Desai made up for it, she looks hot. Rangayana was regular, Subburaj was standard, Dilipraj was effective, Bullet Prakash was convincing, Satyajith could have been better, the others didn't have much to offer.
Sanchari Filem Review
There is nothing special in terms of content for the film but then it is the few scenes that were depicted well which grabs the attention. While the first half goes on the lighter side like romance and some comedy, the second half gets serious and involves melodrama as well. Overall, this is a film that will appeal to the masses to an extent but nothing much for the family or the class audience. At the box office, it might be a below average grosser.
Bharatstudent Verdict: Just okay, can be watched if nothing else to do
