Rajadhani Sandalwood Movie Review

A well knit tale, the story is about five friends Raja, Jaggu, Dhamu, Nithya and Chetan (yash, sathya, Raviteja, sandeep, chetan) who hail from very poor families. They look for making quick money through shortcut methods but one among them disagrees. He is Chetan, son of a school teacher. The desperation is spotted by Manohar (sharat) and he offers them a deal. Kill the dreaded don Benku Mahadevu and get Rs 50 lakhs. Chetan says no and separates from the group. The rest of the friends go ahead and kill the don successfully. But they don't get the money and land up in jail. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Rajadhani Kannada Cinema Review

The director has come up with a thoughtful storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was good. The dialogues were rude at many places, the script was standard and the screenplay was tight. Background score was nice but only two songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was the saving grace. Editing was required during many situations. Costumes were moderate while the art department was matching the situations. Yash fits the role very well and does his act as required. Sheena looks sexy but her role was limited. Sathya, Ravi Teja, Sandeep and Chetan made their presence felt. Prakashraj was riveting as usual. Sharat Lohitashva was standard, Ramesh Bhat was regular.

Rajadhani Filem Review

Though the film comes across as predictable, it is the message which catches the attention. This is a must see for youngsters who are getting lured by the means of making quick money and resort to illegal ways. While the first half takes off slowly, things get serious before interval. The second half is all about the consequences of one decision. Overall, the film is decent in technicalities and there is an important message for the youth. At the box office, this will be an average grosser but will get more if the word of mouth publicity works.
Bharatstudent verdict : Good message for youth, watch it!!
