Preethse Preethse Sandalwood Movie Review
A tale that could have been gripping, the story is about Akash (yogish) and though he is adept at many things, one thing that always makes him speechless is his love. Apparently, he is deeply in love with Aishwarya (udayathara) but then he does not have the courage to express his feelings. However, he cannot stop thinking about her and when he gets to know that Aishwarya is engaged, he tries to kill himself. He is saved on time but then his feelings don't change, in this arrives the bubbly and glamorous Bipasha (pragna) who falls in love with Akash but he doesn't respond. On the other hand, Aishwarya gets to know of the strong feelings that Akash has got for her. Slowly, she starts developing feelings for him but still Akash is still finding it hard to open his heart. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Preethse Preethse Kannada Cinema Review
The director has come up with an interesting plotline but then he could not sustain it due to a poor narrative. The presentation was good with the dialogues written well, the script was under grip and the screenplay was apt. Music made its presence felt with three songs that can be taken home and the camerawork was perfect. Editing was alright and the costumes and art department was also impressive. Yogish carried out his role very well and has excelled in dance and fights. However, he needs to work on his dialogue delivery. Udayathara was okay but the real one to watch out for was Pragnya who gave a visual feast to the audience and good potential in acting. Ramesh Bhat was standard, Jai Jagdish was neat, Rangayana Raghu comes up with a triple role. The others came and went.
Preethse Preethse Filem Review
The film could have been a lot better if the makers worked on the pace of the film and also cut short few unwanted scenes. While the first half takes off on a moderate pace and gets the viewers into the mood, the second half gets a bit confusing and dragged which takes away the momentum and at the end, it goes to a predictable climax. If there were more turns in the story, it would have added to the emotion. The film will appeal to the mass audience in a way and for those who are love struck.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Just okay, could have been better.
