Mooru Guttu Ondu Sullu Ondu Nija Sandalwood Movie Review

Story:
A tale with a message, the story begins when a husband and wife decide to go on a pilgrimage to Tirupathi. They have a son Siddu along with three daughters - Ramya, Soumya, Niki. As soon as the parents leave, Siddu along with Ramya and Soumya decide to have fun and call over their respective lovers and friends. However, there is one problem. Niki has got the habit of sleep walking and the entire group gets disturbed by her. To add to the woes, a stranger by the name of Appu (ramesh aravind) enters their home and makes things even harder for them. However, there is a reason for Appu's arrival and how things take shape from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an entertaining theme along with some emotional dose. The dialogues were witty at places, the script was alright and the screenplay was adequate. The presentation was good but it is the narrative that suffers. One song is a major highlight and the background score does really well during the second half especially. Cinematography is top notch. Editing was alright. Costumes were suitable and the art department was realistic. Ramesh Aravind did his bit as required and leaves an impact, Komal Kumar was hilarious, Nancy Thakkar looks luscious and seductive, Srinivasamurthy was standard, Ashalatha was loud and annoying at times, baby Shreya was too good, the others did their bit as required and added value.

Conclusion:
The film takes off as a comedy entertainer and gives some hearty laughs but it is the second half when things take an emotional turn and get more sentimental during the end. This is a mix of comedy and melodrama and though the technical aspects have been nice, the film failed to create a larger impact due to weak narration. Overall, this is good in parts and it will appeal to the family and fun loving audience. The ladies might just have tears in their eyes during the climax sessions.
