Music : Giri Panchanga

Story:
A supposedly psychological thriller, the film is set on the backdrop of a big bungalow and here lives Preethi (pooja). Apparently, she is there as a caretaker of the bungalow but her real job is to look after the child Chinnu (baby soundarya). Chinnu's parents are both doctors and so Preethi is given the job. However, Preethi feels that there is a stranger inside the big home and he is out there to kill the little girl. Due to this, she locks the door from inside and doesn't allow anyone. Soon, the parents discover this and take the help of a leading psychiatrist. He calls Preethi's mobile and from then on, the story goes about how Preethi has to kill this stranger who is actually a creation of her mind.

Presentation:
The director has attempted to come up with a psychological thriller but neither his presentation nor the narrative have been convincing. The dialogues were dull, the script was weak and the screenplay was pathetic. The background score did not impress and there were hardly any songs. Cinematography could have been better but failed to catch at the right angles, editing was raw, the art department was a saving grace with good settings while costumes didn't have much to do. Pooja Gandhi tried her best to infuse life but the character didn't have scope, she was looking seductive though. Thilak was alright, Ananth Nag was standard, Sudharani was regular, Venkatesh did his bit with ease. The real showstealer was baby Soundarya who was energetic and bubbly. The others didn't have much to offer.

Conclusion:
A film such as this rests a lot on screenplay and background score with visual effects but neither of them clicked. The plot did not have enough twists to appeal. While the first half looked a bit promising in the first few minutes, cracks begin to appear in no time. Even the second half is stale leaving the audience disappointed. Pooja's sex appeal might draw few crowds in the mass centers but this film will most likely sink at the box office.
