Story:
A remake tale, the story begins with Surya (ganesh)
who is a student and he comes to Mysore for his education. Here, he comes across
Madhumathi (priyamani) who is a dynamic and confident person. As usual, there is
the regular friction which crops up but eventually, both become friends.
However, both of them are egoistic and a small misunderstanding brings a gap
between them. The story takes a turn when both decide to help their friends get
married. In between this, both Surya and Madhumati tend to experience few
changes in their perspectives. What happens after that forms the rest of the
story.

Presentation:
The director has
come up with a remake tale and though the presentation was good, the narrative
was predictable. The dialogues were entertaining, the script was not that
different and the screenplay was better. Background score was nice and songs
were also well composed. The real credit goes to the cinematography for
capturing the moments well. Art department was nice and the costumes were
trendy. Editing was above average. Ganesh from his end was good and he has
excelled in dialogue delivery at few places. Priyamani was a show stealer and
she wows with her looks and performance. The one to score the brownie points is
Srinivasamurthy. Vijayalakshmi Singh was neat, Sharan brought few smiles, Jai
Jagdish was natural, Tejaswini showed her skills, Satish was standard.

Conclusion:
The film is the
remake of the Telugu movie 'Kushi' which was a blockbuster and it was eventually
made into Tamil as well. The makers did their best not to divert from the
original script and tweaked it very little. While the first half passes off with
the lighter elements of fun and occasional romance, the second half gets a bit
twisted and eventually, gets a message to the audience. The film scores on
technical aspects and it would appeal for those who are not familiar with the
original. At the box office, this will be a profit
grosser.
