Story: A remake tale, the story begins with the Bangalore CCB officer Dhanush (darshan) who is compelled to take the help of a very rich man and borrow his chartered flight. The reason for that is, his girlfriend Geetha (deepika) along with her friend Amrutha are kidnapped by a gang and taken to Switzerland. The gang gives drugs to Indian girls and sells them into human trafficking. Dhanush goes on a one-man mission to Switzerland to locate Geetha and it is here he is helped by a hot girl (bhavana). Whether Dhanush is successful in locating Geetha or not forms the rest of the story.
 

Presentation: The director has come up with a rehashed storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was not that great. The dialogues were decent, the script was written with value and screenplay was moderate. Background score was good and only one song was there for listening. Cinematography was the key factor for this film. Editing was upto the mark. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was rich and colorful. Darshan has come up with a flamboyant act but not much in terms of role strength. Deepika was just okay. Bhavana was sizzling hot and provides visual relief. Ramesh Bhat was regular, Pradip was neat, Srujan Lokesh was effective, Theju was better. The others did their bit as required.
 

Conclusion: The film is the remake of the Hollywood hit ‘Taken’ but then no comparisons can be made to the original. While the first half takes off with rich locations and style, the storyline doesn’t pick up as expected. The second half goes in a little disarrayed mode as it lacks the punch. However, this would be a treat for Darshan fans as he looks wow. At the box office, the openings would be strong due to Darshan mania but the film might touch average to above average if the positive talk spreads.
