Bisile Sandalwood Movie Review
Story:
A disappointing tale, the story begins with Vicky (diganth) who is a careless and reckless guy with no respect for elders and indulges in all vices. His parents are miffed with him and he doesn't even know to treat his sister properly. However, his life takes a turn when he sees Anu (jennifer) who is a rather serious girl. Much to Vicky's luck, the families go for a picnic and in between, both of them get lost in the forest of Bisile ghat. Together, they spend three days and it is here that both of them fall in love. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a stale storyline and though the presentation was good, the narrative was not so. The dialogues were routine, the script was having few loopholes but the screenplay was adept. Background score was nice and songs were the saving grace. Cinematography deserves applause as visual appeal was very high in standards. Art department was effective and costumes were appealing. Editing was abrupt. Diganth looks good but he needs to be careful about his choice of roles, Jennifer Kotwal looks hot and she does her bit as required, Dwarakish was decent, Chitra Shenoy was useful, Sunethra Pandit was standard, Umesh as apt.

Conclusion:
Though the intention of the maker was alright, care should be taken to show the protagonist in an appropriate manner as the youth audience tends to get influenced in a big way. The first half is rather disturbing with the way the hero is projected but luckily, the second half makes up for it. Technically, the film deserves the credit for its visual appeal and taut screenplay but content wise, it is very weak. At the box office, this could be an above average grosser if the promotion is done aggressively.
