Banna Bannada Loka Sandalwood Movie Review

Story:
A horrendous tale, the story is on the film industry and this has Prithvi (ramprasad), his friend Prasad (harsha), Prasad's fiancée (shravani) and her mother. Prithvi also has a love story in the form of Sneha (meghana). Anyways, the team loses a lot of money due to a film as they are cheated by a financier and a company. However, they don't lose heart and Prithvi gets the team together to come up with yet another project. The film becomes a hit and what are the challenges they face for that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a irregular storyline and while the presentation was crappy, the narrative was indifferent. The dialogues were spineless, the script was shoddy while the screenplay was terrible. Background score was bad and songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was disappointing. Editing saw few scenes getting jumped. Costumes were okay while the art department was the saving grace. Ramprasad has a long way to go if he is interested in becoming an actor, he was blank. Harsha was okay. Meghana Gowda was stiff, Shravani was not comfortable. It is only the padding artistes Avinash and Rekha V Kumar who bring some relief.

Conclusion:
The major drawback of the film is the protagonist and the way the entire tale has been handled. While it is understood to show the flip side of cine circuit, it should be with conviction. Barely ten minutes after the film starts, the audiences begins to scratch their heads as they don't seem to be heading anywhere. By interval they are waiting to see the end credits and half of them gave up. At the box office, this will be a dud.
