Story:
A good treat for entertainment lovers, the story is about Ballari Naga (vishnu) who seems to be quite low in his moods. He is under the guard and guidance of Vishwanatha Gowda (avinash) but no one knows it. Naga has got a distinct image with cooling glasses, pan in his mouth, flashy outfits and he is always there at the place where there is crime and injustice bashing up the baddies. Meanwhile, property dispute erupts at Vishwanatha Gowda's house as brother and sister start fighting and Vishwanatha assigns Naga to be the caretaker of the property. This sets the brother and sister against Naga and they try to outbeat him at any cost. Are they successful in their attempts? Why Vishwanatha Gowda has been guarding Naga in secret? All this forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with the remake and even then, he has stitched it well to the Kannada audience. The presentation was good and even the narration was entertaining. The dialogues were well written, the script was strong and the screenplay was effective. Background score and music also impressed with three songs that can be taken home, cinematography was neat and editing was also crisp. The art department gave life like reality to the sets and the costumes deserve a special pat on the back for coming up with highly creative designs. Vishnuvardhan has come up with a fabulous performance and he has proved once again why he is the best, this is one of the most different performances from him. Avinash was apt, Ambarish was neat, Shobaraj was standard, Rajesh came up with a good act. Chitra Shenoy was sensible, Ramesh Bhat was convincing. Lakshmi Hegde was luscious and impressive, Manasi was okay but didn't have much to offer. The others were brief.

Conclusion:
The film happens to be a remake of the Malayalam super hit 'Rajamanickyam' and this had superstar Mammootty in the lead. This time, Vishnu impressed with his typical Bellary region Kannada accent and also with his body language. While the first half is all about twists and turns, the second half goes about with the action sequences with a dose of melodrama and sentiment. This will go very well with the masses and it also has good share of entertainment for the family audience.
