Aramane Sandalwood Movie Review

An interesting theme, the story begins with Amar (Ganesh) who works as a photographer in a studio and is known to be a kind hearted and talented person. He keeps going to different places on assignments and in one such visit he comes across as the wealthy and powerful person Rajashekhara Urs who is a headstrong, arrogant individual and believes in leading life according to his terms. He lacks self discipline and has an offensive approach which irks Amar when he meets him. As expected, Amar retaliates and sparks fly between both, it is only after a while Rajashekhara understands the true nature of Amar and both of them become very good friends. In this process, Rajashekhara reveals his problem and mentions that his family is totally disintegrated. He assigns Amar the job of getting their pictures together by locating them from various places and also unite them. Is Amar successful in his journey? What happens in the end? All this forms the rest of the story.

Aramane Kannada Cinema Review

The director has come up with a very simple and clear subject, the presentation has been good but the narration lost out on few sides which made the movie a bit boring at times. The main drawback for the film is the music which failed to impress but then the camerawork and editing has been perfect while the script and screenplay were intelligent. The locations were not too well handled but the costumes deserve a pat for bringing about a natural look to the characters. Ganesh has come with yet another mesmerizing performance and it is said that his chemistry with Roma, the Malayalam girl and senior star Ananth Nag has come out really well. Roma did a decent job and gave enough glamour while Ananth Nag was his exceptional best. The other stars were just upto the mark and did their bit to contribute to the film.

Aramane Filem Review

While the movie took off on an entertaining mode, it slowly turned towards a sentimental treat and things got a bit dragged during the second half because of this. However, the overall subject was clean and the message was conveyed to the audience clearly without any ambiguity. The presence of Ganesh and Ananth Nag will get the crowd to the theatres and the different subject also will find its appeal among the family audience. If things go well, this could well be another major hit from the Golden Star.

Bharatstudent Verdict : Worth watching, a clean entertainer!!!
