Presentation: The director has come out with an interesting plot and his presentation and narration have been equally decent. The subject was interesting but the script lost out on few key instances which diluted the momentum, however the music and background score deserve a pat on the back for providing some worthwhile tunes and the camerawork also had the jerk and raw touch to give an eerie touch to the whole subject. Sikander who has made his debut has proved that acting is in his bloods and more than his stunning looks, it is his performance that takes the credit. Equally good is Neha who has come as a revelation of beauty blended with acting. Arbaaz Khan was promising enough with an elegant performance and the others like Boman, Anupama Verma were good. However, talented actors like Sachin Khedekar, Dayashankar Pandey have been grossly underutilized. The others have come out with an okay performance. The presence of Saif and Sanjay has added to the glamour and brand of the film.

Conclusion: With the genre of thrillers gaining more popularity, the film maker has come up with a right note to start off but the major setback for the film was the unwanted intrusion of the songs which have actually spoiled the rhythm of the suspense. The first half of the film takes off very well and just when things seem to be gearing up for a breathtaking climax, the mood is spoiled with some unnecessary songs. Also, though the suspense is maintained, it gets predictable at many instances so frame by frame the viewer can foresee what is going to come but on the whole the film sure has some scenes which give tremors. The shock value may not be great but it has its presence felt. The film can find its way to the success mark if promoted well and the reach is made more aggressive.
Bharatstudent verdict : Well made film, can be watched once though the plot looks familiar!!! |
