Well Done Abba Bollywood Movie Review
A good tale dragged long, the story is about Armaan Ali (boman) who takes leave for a month since he has to find a suitable alliance for his daughter Muskaan (minissha). She lives with Armaan's brother Rehman Ali (boman again) and his wife Salma (ila). However, the one month leave becomes three months for Armaan and when he gets back, the boss decides to remove him. But then, Armaan comes up with a story recalling the incidents that made him to come after three months and that includes the possible collapse of a government due to him as well. What is that story forms the essence.

Well Done Abba Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with an interesting and message oriented theme and though the presentation and narration was fine, it is the story that kind of falters. The dialogues were witty, the screenplay was neat but the script went a little lengthy. Background score was soothing but songs could have been better. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was good in parts. Costumes were apt to the theme and the art department was excellent. Boman Irani was once again the life and soul of the movie. His double role was a delight. Also impressive was Minissha who will be a revelation to many acting-wise. Sameer was superb, Ravi was neat, Ila was elegant and the others did their bit as required and contributed effectively.

Well Done Abba Filem Review
The film happens to be based on the famous novel 'Narsaiyyan Ki Bavdi' by Jeelani Bano and as much as the book may be impressive, it is a challenge to get it onto celluloid. However, the first half of the film is quite interesting and looks promising. It is the second half which goes haywire and with unwanted dragging of few trivial things, the momentum is lost. Overall, the film is good in parts and there is a message in it for the audience but to make them sit on their seats for two plus hours may not be that easy due to the dull moments in between. This will appeal to a very select audience.

Bharatstudent Verdict: For Benegal fans, good in parts
