Turning 30!!! Bollywood Movie Review
Story :
A good thought gone bad, the story is about Naina (gul) who lives in the city of Mumbai. She is a thirty year old and right now, she is going through a tough phase. Her relationship has gone to the rocks and along with the heartbreak, she is also facing a crisis situation in her advertising career. However, things keep moving on until she reaches her 31st birthday and realizes that it is not about fear but growing up that is important. What are those experiences and where that takes Naina forms the rest of the story.

Presentation :
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was average, the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were regular, the script was elongated and the screenplay was average. Background score was just adequate and songs failed to cause an impact. Cinematography is the saving grace for the film. Editing was missing at the required places. Costumes were trendy while the art department was appealing. Gul has come up with a decent performance and she shoulders the film well. Purab was neat and classy, Siddarth Makkar was standard, Tilotama was apt, Jeneva was better, Anita was appealing, the others did their bit as required.

Conclusion :
The film comes up with a good thought and though it tends to be realistic and authentic during the first half, things take a down slope during the second half and become clichd. With not much support from the songs, the film relied only on the sequences and some of them got dragged taking away the momentum. Though this might appeal to a select audience, it doesn't have enough power to make its presence felt. At the box office, this could be an average grosser.
