Story:
A flood ridden tale, the story begins with the flight journey to Mumbai where Akshay (emraan) bumps across Sanjana (soha) and in no time, memories come flooding back to him. Well, both of them were couple once upon a time but have now split. However, the chemistry between them tugs the strings of the heart. They land in Mumbai and go separate ways but by then the city is immersed in floods. In no time, Akshay who has been hiding his feelings realizes how Sanjana might be caught in the danger and her fear towards water. The Mumbai flood gets them together but do they actually come together in life as well? That forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and though the presentation was alright, the narrative could have been better at places. The dialogues were alright, the script was written okay and the screenplay was neat. Background score was excellent and two songs are worth taking home. The lyrics are quite strong in every song. Cinematography is top notch, editing could have been crisp. Costumes were good and the art department made a strong impact. Emraan Hashmi gave a good performance and delivers a punch with his subdued character. Soha was competent enough and her performance in emotional scenes was good. Sachin Khedekar was elegant, Mantra was alright but could have put more energy. There are no others to talk about.

Conclusion:
The film runs on the backdrop of the Mumbai 2005 floods but then the disaster is sidelined and the focus is on the turbulent relationship between the lead pair. Also, the pace of the movie is quite slow which kind of dilutes the flavor. While the first half goes on smoothly, it is the second half which loses the momentum and also due to the flood issue not being given importance, few marks go down. The technical aspects are alright but it is the performance of the lead pair that works. The mass have nothing to take in this but the youth audience will have few emotional moments. Commercially, the film will get back its money but it may not be a success at the box office.
