Toss Bollywood Movie Review
A tale that could have been better, the story begins with a group of friends Josh (ashmit), Ryan (rannvijay), Sami (prashant), Sahsa (aarti), Sherry (madhurima), Fiyona (shruti), Denzel (Zakir) who set out for a vacation and have a good time. The story takes a turn on their return when they chance upon a booty. This has loads of cash and in no time, everyone starts building their own dream castles. However, the bad guys Dada (mahesh) and Two (sushant) get a whiff of their 'maal' and they start chasing the group of friends. Also, the cops get to know of this and they start their hunt. In all this, the evil side of the human nature wakes up and soon, one after the other starts getting killed, there is also deceit, lust, betrayal and other evil shades in this. What happens in the end can be guessed.
Toss Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a known tale but he could have made it better with his narrative, however, the presentation was more the priority it appeared. The dialogues were okay, the script was weak but the screenplay was neat. Background score was good while music disappointed, cinematography was the key area of highlight and it has scored full marks. Editing was just okay, costumes were trendy and the art department did not have much say. Coming to the cast, Ashmit was alright, Rannvijay is raw, Prashant was perfect, Aarti was beautiful in looks and performance, Madhurima was seductive, Shruti was apt, Zakir was not upto the mark. Talents like Mahesh Manjrekar, Sushant Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Yadav were all wasted and no justice was done to them.
Toss Filem Review
The film had this techno way of projecting the film but in the end, it had to do with the human nature of evil and greed for money. While the first half goes with the element of friendship along with the fun, the second half revolves around the dark side of human emotion and ultimately the gyan that lust for money only brings destruction. The film suffered due to its extreme focus on technical aspects and presentation that content was missing. The film is a visual treat but then not much to really relish.
