Story: An interesting tale, the story begins with
Krish (Aamir) and his wife Meera (sandhya) who set out from Mumbai to Goa. They
are on a special mission- to locate the Great Indian Butterfly which is very
rare and considered extinct. Those who posses it will have unending happiness,
peace and success. The journey begins and during this, both Krish and Meera
begin to explore the missing links in their relationship. They also discover few
facts about their lives in this process. Whether they are successful in getting
the butterfly and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has
come up with a conceptual theme and he has managed to present it well. The
narrative was also good except for few unwanted things. The dialogues were
simple, the script was neat and the screenplay was effective. Background score
suits the moods but the songs were unnecessary and not appealing. Editing was
required at few places while the costumes were trendy and stylish. Art
department was good. Aamir has given a splendid performance and more should be
seen of him. Same is the case with Sandhya who has shown strong potential, they
must be given more opportunities. Shibani sizzles in the item song, Koel was
seductive, Barry was alright.

Conclusion: The film runs more on
the relationship aspect between couples and given the subject, it will appeal to
a very select audience. While the first half goes about in a good fashion, the
second half stutters with unwanted scenes and songs but the climax makes up for
it. There is nothing for the mass audience and the entertainment factor is less.
This is more for the urban couple and the metro audience who are caught up with
their busy lives. Commercially, this would require word of mouth in the
multiplexes but as such, the film has been made well and with sense.
Bharatstudent Verdict : For
select audience only, can be watched |
