A tale that could have been better, the story is set on the backdrop of a small town in Kashmir and here lives Sikandar (parzun) who lost both his parents quite a while ago as they were killed by the terrorists. He now lives with his uncle and aunt but then his life takes a turn when he chances upon a gun in the football field. Despite the many cautions and warnings from his close friend Nasreen (Ayesha), Sikandar takes the gun and with each passing moment, he gets sucked into much deeper complications. Is he able to come out of it? who is responsible ? All this forms the rest of the story.

The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and though the presentation was neat, the narrative failed to impress. The dialogues were neat, the script was okay but the screenplay was disappointment. Background score was okay but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography did a fabulous job here. Editing could have been better, costumes and art department were natural. Parzun has carried out his role very well, Ayesha was not upto the mark, Madhavan was good, Sanjay Suri was effective, the real show stealer was Arunoday Singh who was strong and also causing an impact with his presence. The others were just plain.

The film revolves around the terrorism and the politics involved behind it but then this delicate issue could have been much better if the screenplay was right. While the first half goes about normally there is a twist before the interval which ignites the audience. However, the second half is just stale and though there are some good moments, the climax was not very convincing. The film would hardly be able to appeal any genre of audience.
