Story: A tale about life, the story is about six bachelors (Karanvir Sharma, Rohin Robert, Bhaumik Sampat, Kunal Pant, Rohit Arora, Parimal Aloke). They all live together in an apartment called Sadda Adda. As expected their house is a mess filled with beer bottles, cigarette butts etc but at the same time, the lads also clean up the home, cook for themselves and have got some solid ambitions in life. However, each one has their own share of challenges and hurdles to face. Whether they are successful in their journey of life or not forms the rest of the story. |
Presentation: The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were good at places, the script was written with less intensity and screenplay was regular. Background score was good and three songs were there for listening. Cinematography was worthy. Editing was required during the first half. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was natural. Karanvir Sharma was good, Rohin Robert was regular, Bhaumik Sampat was good, Kunal was cool, Rohit Arora was intense. The ladies didn’t have much to do but Shaurya Chauhan and Maryam Zakaria were filled with oomph. The others didn’t have much scope. |
Conclusion: Given the long list of glamourous bombshells involved, one would expect an adult comedy with this film. However, what turns out as a youthful entertainer also has a dose of message for the viewers. While the first half goes about in a lighter note with elements of comedy and romance, the real twist occurs before the interval bang. On the other hand, the second half gets into a routine mode but it is the last twenty minutes that again picks up. Overall, the film comes as a sincere attempt to convey something but if it was more streamlined it would have helped. At the box office, this could be an average grosser. Bharatstudent verdict: Could have been better |
