Ramayana - The Epic Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
A well known epic, the story is about the ideal couple Rama (manoj bajpai) and Sita (juhi) who set an example to the people in their kingdom. A selfish wish by Rama's foster mother Kaikeyi takes Rama into the jungles along with his wife. Story takes a turn when the king of Asuras Raavana (ashutosh rana) gets enamored by Sita's beauty and kidnaps her when Rama is not around. Rama begins his search for Sita and in this process, he is helped by Hanuman (Mukesh rishi). With the help of Hanuman, Sugreev and the monkey army, Rama reaches Lanka, the kingdom of Raavana. A big battle happens and Rama kills Raavana.
Ramayana - The Epic Hindi Cinema Review
Presentation:
While the storyline needs no introduction, the credit must be given to the director for arranging the sequences in order. The dialogues were well written, the background score was appealing and the songs were melodious. The key highlight is the graphics department who has come up with exceptional imaging and effects. Editing is neat. All the departments contributed effectively and made their presence felt. Manoj Bajpai was impeccable in his dialogue delivery, Juhi Chawla was graceful, Ashutosh Rana made his mean voice the perfect match for Raavana while Mukesh Rishi was perfect as Hanuman.

Conclusion:
Though it is an animated film and is meant for the children, there is a lot in it for the elders and grown ups as well. Firstly, it is the improvement in the animation and graphics technology which our cinema has been lacking when it comes to international standards. Some of the animated sequences were exceptional. Also, there are many places where the coloring and visual appeal was kept in mind. The film suffers due to unwanted lengths at few place but overall, it is a treat and must be watched for the efforts of the team.
