Radio Bollywood Movie Review

Story:
A complicated tale, the story is set on the backdrop of an FM radio station and here is Vivan (himesh), a very successful RJ. However, his personal life is stormy as his wife Pooja (sonal) takes divorce from him since she feels that they are incompatible. Life changes for Vivan with the arrival of Shanaya (shehnaz), the bubbly girls walks into his heart in no time and even she starts feeling strongly about him. Now, Vivan is in a fix since Pooja starts sending feelers about wanting him back and what happens from there? which woman does he go to? What is the right thing to do? All this forms the rest of the story.

Radio Hindi Cinema Review

Presentation:
The director has come up with a one line story and though the presentation was good, the narrative lacked the depth. The dialogues were okay, the script was weak and the screenplay was erratic. The background score was good and songs were the major highlight, cinematography cooperated well and that deserves a pat. Editing could have been better, costumes were stylish and art department was impressive. Himesh did his bit well and has improved very well as an actor, Sonal was alright but her role was not etched out that well, Shenaz comes out with a good act this time and has shown potential, Paresh Rawal was nice, Rajesh Khattar was regular, Zakir Hussain was okay.

Radio Filem Review

Conclusion:
The film has a storyline that has been visited several times before so there was not much for the audience to predict right from the start. While the first half goes about with the regular tale of romance and emotion, the second half goes about with the sentimental mix up and by this time, the audience doesn't have much to do except wait for it to get over. The number of unwanted songs is a major drawback which has spoiled the momentum of the film. Overall, there are some good moments but then that is not sufficient to get the crowds to the theatres.
