Story:
A complicated tale, the story begins with two friends
Yash Ambani (sanjay dutt), Raj Ambani (akshaye) who are small time crooks. They
rob a bank and its manager Zandulal (paresh) falls into the list of suspects. On
the other hand, there is top cop Arjun Singh (anil kapoor) who is married to
Kajal (sushmita), daughter of police commissioner (shakti kapoor). And then
there is Marcos (suniel shetty) who has a gang of robbers that perform a diamond
robbery but lose it. Story takes a turn when Raj falls in love with Sanjana
(kangna), sister of Kajal and on the other hand, both Raj and Yash get
discovered by Zandulal so they offer to rob another bank to return his money.
What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has
come up with a rather illogical storyline but then he has packed it well with
good presentation and somewhat okay narrative. The dialogues were entertaining
but the script was not logical and the screenplay was patchy. Background score
was okay and one song was nice. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was abrupt
in few places. Costumes were stylish and the art department was rich. Anil
Kapoor was riveting and gave his best, Sanjay Dutt was alright, Akshaye Khanna
could not show his full potential, Paresh Rawal was the real showstealer,
Sushmita was superb, Kangna was average, Suniel Shetty was neat, Neetu Chandra
looks sizzling hot, Shakti Kapoor was hilarious, the others didn't have much to
offer.

Conclusion:
Though the film came
in with a lot of hype given the names attached to it and the star power the film
failed to engage the audience. The flavor of the comedy was poor and while the
first half was okay, it was the second half that got into unwanted sequences
taking away the interest. The main drawback for the film is its poor writing and
there was not much kick in the entertainment aspect. The focus was more on
presentation and the formula was not used to the fullest. At the box office, the
openings will be good due to the names but this may not be a
success.
