Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge Bollywood Movie Review

Story:
A tale of false identities, the story begins with Rahul (nishant) who is a rockstar with handsome looks and great voice. Then there is Vishal (saqib) who is a writer with intelligence but keeps a low profile. On the other hand, there is Malavika (tara) a drop dead beautiful girl and a fashion designing student whereas her friend Preity (saba) is a photographer whose life is all about her pictures. The story takes a turn when Vishal takes the place of Rahul in Facebook and Preity takes the place of Malavika. Here stars a love relationship with fake identities. How long that lasts and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a contemporary storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was engaging at many instances. The dialogues were humorous. The script was written well and the screenplay got crisp at key points. Background score was good and the songs were hummable. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was matured but it was required during the second half. Costumes were natural and the art department was suiting the moods. Nishant has come up with a natural performance and he does well. Saqib was excellent. Tara D'Souza is stunning hot and she has tremendous potential. Saba made her presence felt. The others didn't have much to offer.

Conclusion:
Given the fact that the film runs on the backdrop of the social networking site Facebook, it scores some early points. On the other hand, the way the story is treated and the pace with which things happen is something which will strike the regular audience. While the first half is filled with humour, the second half gets a bit sentimental and emotional. Overall, this is a film that will strike a chord with the youth audience. At the box office, this will be an above average grosser.
