Lootera Bollywood Movie Review
A nostalgic tale the story is set on the backdrop of Bengal during 1953 a man named Varun (ranveer) appears at the house of a Zamindar and within no time he wins their hearts. One among them is the Zamindar’s daughter Pakhi (sonakshi) who falls in love with him. Soon, both have a passionate time but suddenly Varun disappears. On hearing this, the Zamindar passes away and Pakhi though heartbroken decides to move on. She moves to Dalhousie but before she can settle her thoughts Varun comes again. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Lootera Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a romantic storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were very intellectual. The script was different but the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was soothing and three songs were worth watching and listening. Cinematography was excellent. Editing was crisp. Costumes were well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. Ranveer Singh was very good as he carried the variations in his role well. Sonakshi Sinha is seductively charming and strikes with her performance. Barun Chanda was matured. Adil Hussain was apt. Shirin Guha was standard. Vikrant Massey was impressive. Arif Zakaria was awesome.
Lootera Filem Review
The very first feel of the film is like it is a classic love story being unfolded in a bygone era. The way the whole thing has been arranged is breathtaking. The first half of the film goes on a smoother note with elements of love, feelings while the interval bang is slightly twisted. The second half goes on a serious mode but eventually picks up the emotional journey. Overall, this is a film which is more for the wholehearted lovers. At the box office, this will strike success.

Bharatstudent verdict: Romantic, sensuous and classical, very good
