Story: A simple story well told, the story is about two couples and an individual. First is Karan Malhotra (fardeen) who gets married to Sanjana (Genelia) and theirs is a dreamy love story heading towards marriage. Then there is Bhavesh Patel (tusshar) who dreams of a love marriage but has to listen to his parents and is all set to get married to Prachi (prachi). Now, Prachi has to ensure that she fulfills her duties as an obedient daughter in law before she becomes a wife. All this apart ,there is the famous Jeet Oberoi (govinda) who is a lawyer specializing in granting divorces to his clients in a record fashion. For him, marriage is just fiction and end to all happiness. However, destiny has something else written for the trio and their paths cross at one point of time. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a normal storyline but then it was his narration that was truly impressive. The presentation also was good with some really witty dialogues, a sensible script and screenplay which was apt. The music however was a drab with just one song to talk about but the cinematography was too good. Editing didn't have much to do, costumes were super and art department was creative. Govinda came up with yet another splendid performance and he looks trim. Fardeen was perfect to his role, Tusshar was excellent, Prachi has shown potential but the real show stealer was Genelia who infuses life into the movie. Anupam Kher was regular, Amrita could have been better, Darshan was effective, the others made their bit.

Conclusion: The film has come up with an age old storyline but the makers were sharp to include real life scenarios of the current trend and make things interesting. Blended with good performances and also a neat and convincing storyline, it has been a good effort. While the first half goes on a completely entertaining mode, the second half takes a very serious turn. The film suffers on the climax though, it could have been better there. Overall, this is an entertainer for youth, married couples. Bharatstudent Verdict : Entertaining... |
