Kucch Luv Jaisaa Bollywood Movie Review
A good tale gone bad, the story begins with Madhu (shefali) a housewife whose life is filled with boredom. Her husband (sumeet raghavan) takes her for granted and even forgets her birthday which falls on February 29th, once in four years. Madhu decides it is time to reinvent herself and in this process meets Raghav (rahul bose). Raghav is a criminal who is on the run but then he is mistaken to be a detective by Madhu. He goes along with the flow and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Kucch Luv Jaisaa Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with an appealing storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was not good. The dialogues were stable, the script was fluctuating and the screenplay was poor. Background score was nice but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was the saving grace. Editing was required during many situations. Costumes were moderate while the art department was matching the situations. Shefali was unable to prove her mettle this time and gets annoying. Rahul Bose was a misfit to the role. Sumeet Raghavan was good. Neetu Chandra looks luscious. Amin Hajee was apt, Om Puri makes his presence felt.
Kucch Luv Jaisaa Filem Review
The film comes across as an interesting theme and it does take off on a bright note. While the first half looks promising, things begin to change just before the interval. The second half gets quite botched up and things seem to stand on a flimsy note. It appears that at one point the director seems to have forgotten the crux of the story. Overall, this is a film which could have done well if the writing was reasonable. At the box office, success is very unlikely.
