Kidnap Bollywood Movie Review

Story:

As the name goes this is a tale of a kidnapper Kabir Sharma (Imran Khan) who becomes a victim of  Vikrant Rane's (sanjay Dutt) ire and goes to jail and spends seven years honing his skills both physically and technically. Once he is out of the prison with all the vengeance he kidnaps Sonia (Minissa Lamba) and plays the blackmail game with her billionaire father Vikrant, who takes the help of Imran (Rahul Dev) his corporate security officer to trace this criminal. Imran's efficiency is put to test by hero's brilliance and all his plans to trace him turn futile. Running out of options billionaire father accepts the challenge and dances to the tunes of the kidnapper who controls him with his own set of rules, at the fag end of the story our kidnapper teaches morals of life to this emotional father.

Kidnap Hindi Cinema Review

Presentation:

The director has come up with a visited plot but then he has shown some expertise in narration and presentation areas until most part of the movie. The script came good and the dialogues were ok, the screen play was very good in the initial part which kept the interest alive. The music is fresh and couples of songs are catchy. The strength to the film is good cinematography and all the skin show. Editing could have been better after the interval. The plot which sprints in the initial stages of the movie slows down after some time and emotional drama slips in and the story loses the grip. Sanjay Dutt was at his usual best, Imran who still looks a cute pie has to go a long way playing serious roles. Minissa is all skin and no skills, and looks a bomb who would definitely give the current item girls a run for their money. Vidya Malvade was ok as an egoistic wife. Rahul Dev didn't have much to offer.

Conclusion:

The first half of the movie is exciting which generates expectations about the continuation of the plot, however the second half lost its focus on the subject and has failed to live up to the audience expectations. The songs are catchy and would interest a section of the viewers. This flick may not be a big commercial success but would surely be a paisa wasool movie.

Bharatstudent Verdict: It is definitely an entertaining movie with action packed and all the commercial elements. Worth watching once.
