Jo Dooba So Paar Bollywood Movie Review

A good tale gone bad, the story is set on the backdrop of a village in Bihar and here lives Kishu (anand) who is thrown out of school. Since then, he keeps working with his father (dadhi) in his truck. Kishu's life takes a turn when he comes across the American girl Sapna (sita ragione) and falls in love with her. Sapna comes there for research but then she already has an American boyfriend (alexx). Kishu is heartbroken on discovering this and as if that is not enough, the twist occurs when Sapna gets kidnapped. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Jo Dooba So Paar Hindi Cinema Review

The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were humorous at places. The script was written well but the screenplay could not appeal throughout. Background score was good and two songs were hummable. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was matured but it was required during the second half. Costumes were natural and the art department was suiting the moods. Anand Tiwari does his best to bring life into his character and the story. Sita Ragione looks pretty and she makes her presence felt. Vinay Pathak was not upto the mark. Sadia was okay. Alexx O Neil does a good job. The others did their bit as required.

Jo Dooba So Paar Filem Review

The film comes with a good thought on paper but it takes a different form when it is brought onto the screen. While the first half is somewhat okay, the second half is completely predictable and routine. Despite having a good storyline, the makers didn't experiment and preferred to take a stereotype path which has backfired. Overall, this is a film made with good technical values but it doesn't have enough to get good marks from the audience. At the box office, this will be below average.
