Story: An unusual love tale, the story begins with Rajesh (ritiesh) who hails from a typical Gujarati family and all he needs is the true love of a woman. He tries his best but all his attempts fail, just when he decides to give it all up, comes Natasha (sonal) to change his life. On the other hand, there is Desh (ruslaan) who is the most eligible bachelor of the country with his superstar status and while girls and their mothers keep hovering over him, he is also waiting for the right kind of girl. The story takes a turn with the arrival of Tara (Jacqueline) all the way from planet Venus, her problem is also that of true love. What happens after that and who gets whom forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a creative subject and though his presentation was good, he could have worked on the narrative. The dialogues were effective but the script was not written well during the second part, the screenplay was convincing. Background score was nice and two songs are melodious. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was crisp, costumes were trendy and art department was impressive. Ritiesh Deshmukh has come up with a good performance and he has proved his mettle once again, Jacqueline looks gorgeous and she has done a neat job given her background, Sonal was sweet, Ruslaan was rugged but elegant, Satish Shah was hilarious, Supriya was superb, the top stars making special appearances add value to the film.

Conclusion: The film takes off on a rather interesting note and one would want to experience such fairytale romances. True to that, the first half is quite engaging with enough doses of humor and light moments, however, it is the second half where things go wrong. The plot gets completely routine and one can predict what is going to happen next. It is here that the makers should have worked on the script and made it more creative, that would have created a strong impact. For now, the film is high on technical aspects and star power so the openings would be good, it could go upto the profit mark if word of mouth spreads well but scoring a hit is difficult. Bharatstudent Verdict : Passable entertainer |
