Story: An intense romantic tale, the story is about Parma (arjun) and Zoya (parineeti chopra) who hail from two different families. Apparently, both the families are from political backgrounds and they hate each other. So, it is natural that even Parma and Zoya are bred to hate each other. They end up disliking each other and keep doing their best to outwit each other. However, an incident happens which makes them take a U-turn in their thoughts. Both seem to have same sort of thinking and this ends up leading them to fall in love. What happens after that forms the rest of the story. |
Presentation: The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was engaging in parts. The dialogues were alright. The script was written with good energy and the screenplay was apt. Background score was impressive and three songs were catchy. Cinematography was appealing. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was neat. Arjun Kapoor has come up with a natural performance and he scored well. Parineeti Chopra looks fresh and cute, she has potential. Anil Rastogi was matured, Natasha Rastogi was natural, Ratan Rathore was regular. |
Conclusion: The film marks the debut of the lead pair who hail from a filmy family but they seem to have put good efforts to show their talent and skills. While the first half goes on a lighter mode with the usual elements of romance, songs and comedy, the second half gets into a serious mode with the family sentiment and the intensity of lovers. Overall, the film is good for the youth audience who like to see fresh performances. At the box office, the film would be a safe venture given some aggressive post release marketing. Bharatstudent verdict: Youthful and entertaining |
