Gandhi To Hitler Bollywood Movie Review
A historic tale gone poor, the story is set on the backdrop of the second world war when Adolf Hitler (raghuvir yadav) is facing huge setbacks. He decides to hide himself in a bunker and is looking for victory. On the other hand, there is Gandhi (avijit dutt) who is leading the freedom movement against the British. Then there is also a set of Indian soldiers led by Balbeer (aman verma) joining hands with Russians and fighting against the Germans. The story takes a turn when Gandhi decides to write two letters to Hitler urging him to change his path to avoid the war. What happens in that forms the rest of the story.
Gandhi To Hitler Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a historic storyline and while the presentation was messy, the narrative was indifferent. The dialogues were weak, the script was poor and had few visible flaws while the screenplay was grim. Background score was good in parts. Cinematography was appealing and the saving grace. Editing was lukewarm. Costumes were natural while the art department was suiting the moods. Raghuvir Yadav was unable to match the histrionics of Hitler though he tried his best. Neha Dhupia looks sizzling seductive but not much presence for her. Aman Verma was adequate. Lucky Vakharia was neat. Avijit Dutta was okay. The others didn't have much to do.
Gandhi To Hitler Filem Review
The very subject is heavy and dealing with two of the world's most powerful personalities with contrasting ideologies is not a joke. This was seen clearly. The first half takes off on a pathetic mode and when the second half arrives, there are few bright moments but in no time, even that also gets fumbled and the film becomes immature. As such, the thought of connecting Gandhi to Hitler was good but such projects require finesse. At the box office, this will be a dud.
