Story: A good tale gone sour, the story begins with Navin (purab) and Nandini (gul panag) who are all set to get married. To celebrate the occasion, Navin along with his friends Sudeep (Ranvir) and Yash (neil) go for a party. An accident happens and Navin dies. He goes to heaven and discovers that it was a clerical error and actually it was the obese Sudeep who was supposed to die. He creates ruckus in heaven and demands his life back. So, he is sent back to earth but in a different body, that of Sudeep. Whether he is successful in winning the heart of Nandini or not forms the rest of the story. |
Presentation: The director has come up with an interesting concept but though the presentation was good, the narrative is engaging only in parts. The dialogues were good to an extent, the script was moderate but the screenplay was a letdown. Background score was alright and songs were not good. Cinematography was upto the mark and editing was required during the second half. Costumes were impressive and art department was colourful. Ranvir Shorey comes up with an exceptional performance, Gul Panag was gorgeous and acted well, Purab was perfect, Neil Bhoopalam was natural, Gunjan was good looking and performed nicely, Bharti was usual, Brijendra Kala was apt. The others did their bit as required. |
Conclusion: The film seems to be an inspiration from many Hollywood flicks which came on similar theme. However, while the first half takes off nicely and looks interesting, the film begins to lose grap as it progresses. By the time the second half comes, there are many situations which kind of bore you and logical loopholes in the script were evident. Technically, the film is well made but the execution faltered. At the box office, it would be difficult for the film to shine. Bharatstudent verdict: Good start, poor ending |
