Presentation:
The
director has come up with a known subject and though the presentation was good,
the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were okay, the script was
flimsy and the screenplay was weak. Background score was good but only one song
is worth taking home. Cinematography was excellent, costumes were rich, art
department was creative and editing could have been better. Fardeen Khan carries
off his role well and he has some good moments, Ishita was beautiful and made
her presence felt, Sushmita was rocking and is apt for the role, Shahrukh Khan
was a let down. Johnny Lever was regular, Mohit was neat, Suchitra was standard,
Bina was okay. The others did their bit but didn't have much to offer. |
