Presentation:
The
director has come up with hardly a storyline but then it is his narration and
the presentation that score the marks. The dialogues are the major highlight and
few of them are top notch, the script was regular but the screenplay was strong
and impressive. Added to that was the melodious background score and the songs.
Important scenes and songs have been canned at the right angles and it visually
pleases, thanks to the apt cinematography. Editing was good but it could have
cut few more corners, costumes were stylish and the art department was a
revolution. Govinda is the heart and soul of the film and only he can do such
performances, Riteish was competent and he managed to make his presence felt
amidst Govinda, Lara Dutta looked lusty and hot, she is a screen scorcher and
has also performed well in the comedy department. Sushmita Sen was elegant and
even her acting was good, Sohail Khan didn't have much to offer, Ranvir Shorey
was first rate, Rajpal Yadav was hilarious, Rituparna was hardly there, Manoj
Pahwa was magnificent, Himani was neat, the others did their bit as required. |
