Do Dooni Chaar Bollywood Movie Review
A realistic tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the middle class Delhi and here lives Santosh Duggal (rishi), a teacher and his family. Wife Kusum (neetu) dreams of having a royal life while his daughter Payal (aditi) is a teenager. His son Sandy (archit) is a fast moving today's boy. So life goes for Santosh to make ends meet considering the Indian inflation. The story takes a turn when the family decides to go in for a four wheeler and that leads to various ups and downs, bonding moments, competition in the neighbourhood etc. Whether they are successful or not and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Do Dooni Chaar Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a rather realistic concept and both the presentation and narrative were good. The dialogues were natural, the script was strong and the screenplay was admirable. Background score was good but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography captured the real moments. Editing could have been better. Costumes didn't have much work while art department was perfect. Rishi Kapoor is the show stealer for the film and he did his bit with élan, Neetu was natural and she showed a very good chemistry. Archit was peppy while Aditi looks sweet, Akhilendra Mishra was impressive while Supriya was superb.
Do Dooni Chaar Filem Review
The film is a very down to earth daily life recipe and it doesn't have the regular Bollywood masala. While the first half goes about with the characters and their problems, it is the second half that gets into the mood. Though there are few bizarre sequences, the ending is good given the strong message to the viewers. While the entertainment factor might be low, the film still runs on a lighter vein. At the box office, it will surely be a profit grosser.
Bharatstudent Verdict: Humorous with message, recommended!!
