Story: An average treat, the story is about three middle class people of different ages and different problems. There is Akshay (Tusshar) who is a crime reporter struggling to make it big and then there is Lambodar (Rajpal) who spends half his time getting into fights with his wife over his boring job, the senior among them is Joshi saab (Anupam) who is a retired accountant and is trying to digest the pain of his son who leaves him in the lurch. However, all three of them are brought together and they take each other's support for strength and relief. Life changes when an incident occurs and the trio gets together with a prank to resolve it, slowly the prank leads to a series of events and in no time things get so enormous that the trio who were part of an ordinary society becomes the entire talk of the nation. What is that prank? How did they get famous? What is the role of the don (Mithun Chakraborty)? all this forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with an interesting subject that could have been developed even better but then the narration came down in speed which led to monotony. However, the presentation was nice and there were a song or two that came out well, the camera was suiting the sync and the occasion. Dialogues were witty, the script was half good, editing was missed during the second half, screenplay was effective. Tusshar has come up with a neat performance while Rajpal was his energetic best and got his share of laughs, the best as always has been Anupam who came up with a splendid performance and equally competent was Mithun Da with his antics. The guest roles of Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor added to the film and Raima Sen is truly a ravishing beauty. The number between Tusshar- Celina is worth a treat. The others did their bit with ease and had nothing much to contribute to be honest.

Conclusion: The director has shown a natural flair for comedy and he did prove his mettle at key points but then he should have worked on the continuity aspect that was important for the rhythm of the film. While the first half was good and had a generous share of light moments that had set a lot of expectation over the second half. As is the regular defect, the second half lost its momentum and it was more like history being repeated, even the culmination of the climax was abrupt but luckily the ending was commendable since it carried a message. The film might just pass off with a break even statistics but if other movies go down then it might pick up some mileage out of it.
Bharatstudent Verdict: A passable entertainer...
