Bhindi Bazaar Inc Bollywood Movie Review
A dark tale, the story is set on the backdrop of Bhindi Bazaar and here is Mamu (pawan) who is the don of the area. He is joined by two youngsters Fateh (prashant) and Tez (gautham) and in no time, Fateh wins the confidence. But then he comes with a motive. To takeover the title of Mamu just like he did many years ago. However, the journey to reach the top is not easy for Fateh as there is a lot of deceit, treachery, betrayal involved along with an element of revenge. Does Fateh becomes Mamu? What happens to Tez? Who is Shroff? All this forms the rest of the story.
Bhindi Bazaar Inc Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a hard hitting storyline and while the presentation was perfect, the narrative was alright. The dialogues were tough, the script was well written but the screenplay loses grip during crucial time. Background score was nice but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was masterly. Editing was required during critical sequences, especially during the second half. Costumes were moderate while the art department was matching the situations. Pawan Malhotra was marvellous, Kay Kay Menon was excellent, Prashant Narayanan was a revelation, Gautam was good, Deepti Naval was matured, Vedita looks hot, Piyush was powerful, Jackie Shroff was not used properly, Shweta was nice. The others did their bit as required.
Bhindi Bazaar Inc Filem Review
Gangster flicks have always found a select genre in audience and with branded stars getting into it, the attention has increased. Coming to this film, it has got power packed performances but then there is a sense of déjà vu given the storyline. While the first half takes off breezily and gives a good impact, things begin to fall down during the second half and the climax gets stretched. The film would have been more impressive if it was trimmed. Overall, this is a film which appeals to action loving audience so it could be an average grosser.
Bharatstudent Verdict: Hard hitting but predictable
