Accident on Hill Road Bollywood Movie Review
A stale tale, the story begins with Sonam (Celina) who happens to be a nurse in the hospital and one day, she is on her way back along with her boyfriend Sid (abhimanyu). Sid happens to be a drug peddler and the story takes a twist when she rams her car into Prakash (farooque) who is badly hit. Sonam is in a fix to take him to hospital but finally decides against and gets Prakash to her garage. He is fighting for his life but both Sonam and Sid decide to leave him there. However, things take a turn from there onwards and that wreaks havoc on Sonam's life. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Accident on Hill Road Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a good thought but then he was not able to conceive it well on the silver screen. The presentation was average but the narrative was below average. Dialogues were dull, the script was weak and had flaws, the screenplay was disappointing. Background score was not catchy and there was only song which was spicily hot. Cinematography was normal, editing was raw. Costumes were good and the art department was a saving grace. This was like a comeback film for Farooque Sheikh but then he barely had the scope to show his mettle, Abhimanyu was okay, credit goes to Celina who has put in lot of efforts to infuse life into the character and the story. She deserves some applause. The others didn't have much to offer.
Accident on Hill Road Filem Review
The film finds its base strongly with the Hollywood movie 'Stuck' which was a major success. However, the interpretation was not done with finesse and while the first half looks a bit appealing, things falter just before interval. Second half takes a completely different route and this leads to a lot of impatience to the viewers. The semi climax was terrible and even worse was the climax. Overall, justice is not done to the genre of the film and fault lies in direction and screenplay. The film will most likely fizzle out at the box office but Celina admirers will like it for her performance and looks.
