Aakrosh Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
Three students from the Delhi University go to their hometown Jhanjhar. One of them is a resident of the village and he is from a lower caste. However, all three of them disappear. With this, the government appoints two CBI officers Pratap (ajay) and Siddanth (akshaye) to lead the investigation. Both have a tough time in Jhanjhar as the local inspector (paresh rawal) and others do not cooperate out of fear and other reasons. However, the officers don't give up and go about with their investigation and this causes a major chaos in the Jhanjhar area with the wrongdoers unleashing their terror. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a thought provoking subject and both his presentation and narrative are good. The dialogues were deep, the script was intense and the screenplay was neat. Background score was the major asset. Songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was top notch. Editing could have been better. Costumes were natural and art department was apt. Ajay Devgn comes up with yet another stellar performance. Akshaye Khanna was absolutely brilliant. Bipasha made her presence felt. Reema Sen was excellent. Amita was okay, Jaideep was good, Pankaj Tripathi was effective.

Conclusion:
The film deals with a rather sensitive subject of caste system and honor killings which is very prevalent in the north India. Therefore, it is hardcore reality which makes the audience feel grim. However, the film suffers due to its excessive length. This is the case in both first and second half. Due to that, a lot of voltage fluctuation happens in the emotional graph. Overall, the film is definitely worth watching for those who want quality cinema and makes them reflect on issues. At the box office, this will be an above average grosser.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Hard hitting and thought provoking, only for those who want thinking cinema
