A Strange Love Story Bollywood Movie Review
A stale tale, the story begins with the talented photographer Kabir (eddie) who believes in coming up with something unique to prove his mettle. In this process, he unleashes a being who doesn't belong to this world. Now, the trouble begins as the being is bent upon killing Jennifer (riya), the girl that Kabir cares the most. Meanwhile, people around start getting killed and both Kabir and Jennifer experience some weird incidents. All fingers point towards the couple. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
A Strange Love Story Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a different storyline and while the presentation was poor, the narrative was not good. The dialogues were weak, the script was fluctuating and the screenplay was sloppy. Background score was nice but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was the saving grace. Editing was required during many situations. Costumes were moderate while the art department was matching the situations. Eddie Seth was blank at many places and he needs to improve, Riya looks sexy but nothing in terms of performance again, Ashutosh Rana was apt but he could have done better. Yashpal Sharma made his presence felt. Raj Zutshi could not do much. Ehsaan Khan was alright.
A Strange Love Story Filem Review
When it comes to subjects dealing with supernatural stuff, there must be good share of shock points and a tight grip over the screenplay so that the audience gets involved. However, that was missing in this movie. The first half takes off on a mild note and things look promising just before the interval. However, the second half doesn't have much to offer and the climax was silly. Overall, the film suffers due to poor workmanship from all departments so this is bound to sink at the box office soon.
