A Flat Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
A routine horror treat, the story begins with Rahul (jimmy) who returns from the US to India. His objective is to win back the heart of his lady love Preeti (kaveri jha). However, as soon as Rahul arrives, he starts experiencing weird things in his flat. Things get serious when his father (sachin khedekar) who comes to visit gets killed and soon after, Preeti goes missing. In no time, even Rahul becomes the victim when he realizes that he has been locked in his own flat and the only company he has is that of a ghost (hazel). Who is that ghost? What is the reason for her haunting the place forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a predictable storyline and though the presentation was good at few places, the narrative was disappointing. The dialogues were normal, the script was weak, the screenplay was not upto the mark. Background score made its presence felt but songs were weak. Cinematography was appealing. Editing was neat. Costumes and art department made their presence felt. Jimmy Shergill does his best to emote and he succeeds in it. Sanjay Suri was a miscast, he was not the right choice. Kaveri Jha looks seductively hot and her screen presence is good. Another misfit is Hazel who doesn't get into the bill of a rural girl. Aindrita Ray was alright. Sachin Khedekar was effective, Nasser Abdullah was okay.

Conclusion:
For any ghost movie to be successful, it must have a riveting screenplay and most importantly, there must be enough shock points to give a jolt to the audience. Barring one or two instances during the first half, the rest of the film was predictable with the camera angles, loud background score etc. The second half turns very predictable and though the climax is better, the interest and excitement is lost by then. Overall, the film scores on technical values and performances but fails due to lack of content and shock value.
