Story: An interesting tale, the story begins with Dr Chaddha (annu kapoor) who runs a fertility clinic in Delhi and despite his best efforts he is unable to get success. He realizes that a healthy sperm donor is the only solution. On the other hand, there is Vicky (ayushman) who lives in a middle class locality in Delhi. His mother Dolly (dolly) is a widow who runs a beauty parlor. The story takes a turn when a tiff happens between Vicky and Dr Chaddha and realizes that Vicky is the one who can become a donor. Meanwhile, Vicky falls in love with Ashima (yami) a bank employee. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a different storyline and while the presentation was decent, the narrative was upto the mark. The dialogues were well written and meaningful. The script was decent and the major asset was the screenplay. Background score was good and three songs were worth listening. Cinematography was simply superb. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were colorful and provide visual appeal while the art department was visually delightful. Ayushman has come up with a natural performance and he scores. Yami Gautham was drop dead beautiful and she has a terrific screen presence, she deserves more opportunities. Annu Kapoor was fabulous and he scores the brownie points. Kamlesh Gill was nice, Dolly Ahluwalia was decent, John’s cameo was effective.

Conclusion: The very idea of talking about an issue which is considered a taboo in Indian society deserves applause. Of course, it would still strike as controversial to few mindsets but the efforts are worth watching. While the first half is more on the entertaining side with comedy and interesting sequences, the second half loses the steam due to a few unwanted situations. Overall, this is a film which would appeal to the thinking audience and at the box office, it has good potential to reach profit zone.
