Story: An adult comedy, the story begins with two friends, Adi (tusshar) who is an aspiring actor and wants to strike it big but is currently restricted to doing some unusual TV ads. An advice by a tarot reader says that his stars will change if he gets his lady love and that happens to be Simran (Neha). Adi has got a friend Sid (Riteish) a rather different DJ whose music is also shady. Anyways, the duo set off to Goa as Adi wants to win Neha’s heart and they are accompanied by Sid’s dog Suckru. Goa ends up giving more experiences and meanwhile model Anu (Sarah) falls in love with Sid. What happens from there forms the rest of the story. |
Presentation: The director has come up with a whacky storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was quite racy. The dialogues were filled with double entendre and witty lines, the script was well written and the screenplay was better in first half. Background score was decent and songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was good. Editing was required during the second half to an extent. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was rich. Tusshar Kapoor was hilarious and put good efforts to add humour. Riteish scores with his timing and expressions. Neha Sharma looks sizzling hot, she deserves to get more opportunities onscreen. Her sex appeal, natural beauty and performance quotient is impressive. Sarah Jane was hot and she made her presence felt. Anupam Kher was apt. Chunky Pandey was not used to his potential, Kavin Dave was alright, Mahru Sheikh was moderate. The others did their bit as required. |
Conclusion: The feel of the film is more like a typical Hollywood adult comedy and it must be said that one cannot reason or apply logic to this. The first half is promising and has enough quotient of humour and comedy sequences. The post interval session drags a bit but then it picks up again towards the climax and completes the loop. Overall, this is a movie which would appeal to those who seek timepass masala entertainment and not sensible stuff. At the box office, this has good scope of scoring success. Bharatstudent verdict: Mindless but hilarious!! |
