Crossword and Leadstart Publishing hosted the launch of the book 'Healing the Blue Planet', a book by Bane Singh. The book was released by Notable writer and poet Lokesh Kumar Singh 'Sahil' & Popular TV actor Pawan Shankar, on 12th July at Crossword, Kemps Corner, Mumbai.

The evening was spectacular as it got together three different personalities from distinct background who shared their strong opinion on a topic that concerns our very own existence. Writer Bane Singh who was an ecologist in the past read out a few excerpts from his book to which the audience listened in rapt attention.

Another notable writer Lokesh Kumar Singh 'Sahil' who supported the author in his endeavor shared his views on the book saying that," the book is an eye opener for its readers and for everyone who want to preserve the beauty of Mother Earth which will happen only once people pledge to change their current lifestyle. Popular TV actor Pawan Shankar also supported the author in his initiative and said that, 'Environmental degradation is a global concern and as a human being I do my bit by ensuring that I do not contribute to global warming and I expect all of us to take the same stand if we want to save our environment from further damage."

Author Bane Singh was ecstatic by the support that he received from the audience for his book Healing the Blue Planet and said that, "I have travelled across continents, interacted with environmentalists globally and collected facts about how humans have ignored Mother Earth in their pursuit for development and industrialization. The book also includes the precautions that we all should take to protect our Earth from deteriorating further. The book is meant for everyone who has made 'Save the Earth' as their mission in life and are determined to reverse the climatic changes for the good".
