Mercedes Benz C250 CDI AMG

To those who are looking at a better version of Mercedes with a sleek look, the time has come to try out the Mercedes Benz C250 CDI AMG. The three letters AMG is quite an impact creating one to those who use the four wheelers. But the car would not show any such things on the outside. It is more like an Avantgarde trim C-Class sedan. It doesn’t have any flashy indicators like the C63 AMG.
 
Coming to the look, it has got a blacked out roof and the front air dam is little bigger than usual with an inverted grille which is a typical AMG feature. The bumper is also sporty and larger with racy side skirts. The wheels are 17 inches in diameter and there is a five spoke design. Coming to the interiors, there are the embroidered AMG floor mats along with brushed stainless steel pedals.
 
The steering wheel is also quite sporty and it has a paddle-shifter treatment. Going under the hood, there are not many changes one would find. As usual, ther is the inline-four 2143 cc twin-turbo diesel engine of the C250 CDI so the output is very much the same. However, the motor can generate upto 204 PS of power and it can deliver a torque of upto 500 Nm.
 
The company claims that the car can reach 0 to 100 kms/hr in just 8.17 seconds. The real highlight of this vehicle lies in the rev range. Along with the twin-turbo arrangement there is also the smaller, high-pressure turbocharger to boost the output. There is also the 7G- Tronic seven-speed automatic gearbox to give a smooth power delivery to the rear wheels. There is also the ‘sport’ button which hunkers the sports suspension down and stiffens up. Check it out folks!
