Hyundai Elantra

The Hyundai company which has been making inroads into the automobile market has now brought back its sedan Elantra and this time they have filled all the gaps. This is the 5th generation vehicle after the 4th generation vehicle failed to click. This time, the car is fitted with stretched headlights and taillights, sculpted wheel arches, coupe inspired body lines and beautiful exterior design.
 
The wheels are 16 inch alloys shod with 205/60 R16 rubber and its plastics are of highest quality. Even the texture and feel of the car is quite good. It has a two tone dash with chrome accents. The leg space and cabin space is quite good. There are also other features like dual zone climate control, ventilated front seats (in top variants), high end audio system, cooled glove box etc.
 
There is also the Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio cruise controls, rear seat audio controls, electro-chromic rear view mirror with rear view camera, rear air conditioning vents, electronically adjustable driver seat, push button start/stop, rear parking sensors along with folding and heated ORVMs. The safety measures are also high as Elantra has got six airbags.
 
There is also the vehicle stability management system plus the ABS. The petrol version is 1797 cc while the diesel is 1582 cc. This has four cylinder engine and four valves per cylinder, multi-point fuel injection along with variable timing train technology. The Elantra can generate 149.5 PS@6500 rpm and the torque is of 181 Nm @4700 rpm. The mileage is expected to touch 14-16 kmpl under ideal conditions.
