Bentley Continental GT V8

In comparison to the Bentley W12 which had twin-turbo V8 engine, the continental has four cylinders less. But due to this, the front weight is less which makes it sleek and much faster. The engine comprises of the sophisticated 6.75 litre V8 Mulsanne which runs on half cylinders while cruising.
 
There is an intelligent rapid warm-up valve which keeps the coolant in the confines of the engine till optimum temperature is reached and only then the fluid starts circulating. There is a 40% improvement in fuel efficiency and emissions and it has increased the range of motoring to another 300 kms without a hitch. It has also got a ZF-sourced gearbox which is finely tuned and equipped.
 
This gearbox improves efficiency and it keeps the GT V8 in a sprightly mode letting you drive at maximum torque. It has also got block downshift electronics which allows you to shift upto four ratios at once. Though it is not as heavy as its earlier model or doesn’t have the power due to the lack of the four extra cylinders, the Continental GT V8 sure is a version of class and richness with style.
